The tablet comes out at a sibling’s game
On the sidelines
- Before you leave: “At your sister’s game, your job is to be the cheer captain. We’ll bring the sticker book for the slow parts.”
- When other kids have tablets: “They brought tablets. We brought chalk and a snack. Want to draw a soccer field?”
- When it drags: “Let’s walk to the fence and count the jerseys, then come back and cheer.”
